The National Beta Club is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students in the United States. Its purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students." The club motto is “Let Us Lead by Serving Others.” Members are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The Beta Club Constitution governs all membership in this organization. Students meeting those qualifications are eligible for membership.
Future Business Leaders of America, FBLA, is a nonprofit educational association for middle school, high school, and collegiate students who are interested in learning more about the free enterprise system. FBLA is a nationally recognized club in the United States of America.
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, is a career and technical student organization that aims to help youth in public and private schools with family bonds, careers, and participation in the community.
Future Farmers of America, FFA, is part of a three-circle model of education that consists of classroom instruction, supervised agricultural experiences and the FFA membership. Classroom agricultural education is applied to hands-on learning opportunities called supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs). FFA is the largest student leadership organization in the country. Above all of the individual competitions, projects and activities, they continually focus on leadership. All FFA students learn, practice and are modeled leadership skills. One of the primary skills that the world and our new economy is demanding is leadership.
The main duty is to promote school spirit. Pep squad members make posters, cheer for school sports teams, and help with pep rallies. During games, pep squads lead cheers and chants.
Student Council is made up of student representatives elected by their peers. StuCo exist at our high school level to give students a voice in school activities and to foster experience in leadership, planning, democratic decision-making, and service.
A national academic club for those students in grades 4th - 8th (Bell City acknowledges members of grades 5th – 8th) whose academic prowess makes them eligible for representing their school on both an annual state and national level in a wide variety of academic, artistic, and leadership talents.
An associate of the high school pep club, junior high pep club is open to any Bell City junior high student. Pep Club attempts to encourage school spirit, good sportsmanship, and spotlight each team during their season of play.
